"I called because our 3 year old fridge went out last night. The LG warranty repair will take a couple weeks and we obviously can’t go weeks without a fridge. He was ready and willing to come same day, but based on the age of our LG, the issue and time constraints, he saved us from paying upwards of a grand for a visit + plus the time of ordering the parts. As far as his bottom line, it wasn’t in his best interest to be that upfront, but it definitely helped me decide to invest in a new fridge and repair our current crap fridge under warranty to keep in our garage. "I’m new to the area and I called Steven’s Appliance Service to fix my clothes washer after accidentally calling an appliance sales store who specifically recommended Steven. I am a stay at home parent with a household of 5, so laundry is constantly running. Not having a washer is terrible as well as unbelievably expensive at the laundromat. He came to diagnose my washer the same day I called. My washer is older, and therefore the parts for it are more expensive, and he was upfront and honest that with my washer’s age it may be better to replace the whole thing than to pay him to fix it. Because everything else was in good shape except one part, I opted to have him repair it. He got me nearly a $100 discount on the part, and ordered it immediately. Then when the time came for him to make the repair, my whole household was very sick, so I had to cancel last minute. We rescheduled once everyone was feeling better, and then my cat fell ill and we spent nearly an entire paycheck at the veterinarian, and could no longer afford to fix the washer that week. So we had to cancel AGAIN. He was incredibly understanding where many people would not have been. He made a third appointment to come fix the washer, and despite him having every right to be ornery with us due to the cancellations, he was kind and sympathetic to both the illness we’d had and the expensive vet bills, inquiring about how we felt, as well as how our cat was doing now. He fixed the washer quickly, placed it back where it goes and ensured all was hooked up properly. He then did a test cycle to make sure it was all in working order, and cleaned up after himself incredibly well. He repeatedly told me to let him know if anything went wrong or something still wasn’t right, and ensured I was happy with the outcome. Despite the part itself being expensive (which is out of his hands in this case) his labor and time costs are VERY reasonable! His wife and son who attended the diagnostic appointment were personable, polite, and kind, putting up with my wild, hyper husky and my 2 busy-body toddlers like true professionals. I cannot recommend Steven’s Appliance Service enough! I will never call anywhere else for appliance repairs!"

Also let me know that that washer was on its last leg as the bearing housing was leaking oil. Instead of charging for the part and labor, they were honest and said for the extra $50 it would just be better to get a new washer. I love how honest they are in being able to tell you for the extra $$$ just get the new unit instead of charging and fixing a 4 year old unit for a few dollars less then a new unit. Then, when my dishwasher was back up and running, the heat drying wasn't working and this is when Steven's Appliance Services cemented themselves as the people I will always call when I need help with an appliance (no joke, I added the business to my contacts). I called on a Sunday and left a message letting Steven know what was going on, expecting to hopefully get a call back in the next day or two. Instead, my call was returned on the very same day I left the message and I was put on their schedule for the first day they would be in my area. They came over at the scheduled time, fixed the problem quickly, and all at no extra charge. It would be quite expensive plus he said the control board was acting funny. I decided not to repair but to purchase a new machine as this one is older so I asked him how much for the service call and he told me there was no charge. Just remember him in the future. This man is the best! Call him for everything!"

"I called Steven’s Appliance Services to make an appointment because our dryer would no longer heat. They were able to come over the following week, on a Tuesday, and by Wednesday evening our dryer was back up and running. It was the heating element, as suspected. They ordered a verified Samsung replacement part at a fair price and had it shipped over night. They made us feel like a priority and acknowledged that with our family of 4, laundry was already piling up. They also worked around my work schedule and came over at 6pm to get the job done. I haven’t heard of many companies willing to do that. They also did a total cost work up while at our house on the initial day and were completely transparent of all costs. The charges were extremely reasonable and they will be who I call again in the future if any of my other appliances break."
